The director of this festival gave me a commission for a piece for this year’s event. Mir sind jung (We are Young), to a poem by Tanja Kummer, will be premiered by the youth chorus vocanto of the Music School of Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Sophie-Nora Ehrismann will conduct and Manuel Zollike will accompany on the piano.
