Here's a report about the weekend in German.
Julia will lead a choral seminar in Neuendettelsau, Mittelfranken, Germany from November 17th through 19th, 2023. She was given a commission for this event and set the Stabat Mater text to music for mixed chorus (Soprano, Mezzosoprano, Alto, and Baritone) with organ accompaniment. The rehearsals will start on Friday evening Nov. 17 and run through Sunday morning. The event will culminate in the premiere of this new work in the Catholic church St. Francis in Neuendettelsau. Conductor Prof. Dr. phil. Anne-Dore Stein and pianist Uta Walther will also be in the leading team. The QR-Code on the flyer leads to the registration form.
